MD Hospital Executive Honored For Bursting Onto Scene After Promotion
A MD hospital executive was honored for bursting onto the scene after a promotion. The honoree works for hospitals in Annapolis and Lanham.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A Maryland hospital executive was recently honored for bursting onto the digital and informational scene after a promotion.
Saad Chaudhry of Luminis Health was named one of the 35 hospital and health system chief digital officers to know in 2023. Luminis Health operates the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis and the Doctors Community Medical Center in Lanham.
The honor came on March 20 from Becker's Hospital Review, a national publication covering health care.

"Since his promotion to chief digital and information officer in early 2023, Mr. Chaudhry’s responsibilities include overseeing marketing, communications, public relations, IT, biomedical engineering, telecom and business analytics for Luminis Health," Becker's Hospital Review wrote. "Prior to his promotion, he acted as CIO of the health system."
Luminis Health said Chaudhry is innovating to improve patients' experiences and access to medical care through technology.

"The health system has launched a new web platform that includes a redesigned website and personalized online scheduling for in-person and telehealth visits," Luminis Health said in a press release. "This year, we introduced an AI-enabled support chatbot to offer technical assistance for employees, allowing for faster and automated resolution of some of the most common Information Technology issues."
Becker's Hospital Review accepted nominations for this honor and narrowed the list to 35 honorees. The full list is posted here.
