Man Dies While Trimming Tree In Annapolis
A man trimming a tree in Annapolis was hit and killed by a falling tree limb, Anne Arundel County Fire officials say.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man trimming a tree in Annapolis Sunday afternoon was hit and killed by a falling tree limb, Anne Arundel County Fire officials say. The victim's name has not been released.
The worker was trimming a tree in the 100 block of Sunset Drive around 3:30 p.m. Firefighters found the man, who had suffered fatal injuries. It was reported by witnesses that he was struck by a falling limb while he was working 8 to 10 feet off the ground.
Fire spokesman Lt. Erik Kornmeyer told the Capital-Gazette that the worker was still harnessed 8 feet up in the tree after the fatal injury. Emergency crews freed him from the tree.

The Maryland Occupational Safety and Health office was notified and will investigate the accident.
