Man Fatally Shot In Annapolis: Police

Officers said a man was shot and killed in Annapolis over the weekend. Police offered a $2,000 reward for tips.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police said a man was fatally shot in Annapolis Saturday evening. The shooting happened around 7:33 p.m. in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive, officers noted. Medics flew the unidentified victim to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore where he died from his injuries, a write-up added.

The Annapolis Police Department is still investigating the shooting. Detectives offered a $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment.

Officers asked informants to call 410-260-3439. Tipsters can stay anonymous by dialing 1-866-7LOCKUP, heading to metrocrimestoppers.org or using the P3 Tips smartphone application.
