Man Shot Multiple Times In Annapolis: Police

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man was shot and hospitalized in Annapolis, city police announced Wednesday morning. Officers expect the victim to survive.

Authorities said they heard reports of shots fired in the 100 block of Obery Court around 5:59 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said they responded and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso.

The Annapolis Fire Department also came to the scene. Medics took the victim to an unidentified hospital, a press release said.

Officers are still investigating. Authorities did not mention any leads, suspects or arrests.

The Annapolis Police Department said there is no further information to release at this time.
