Man Shot Three Times Running From Suspect

A man says an armed man got out of a car at Calvert and Northwest streets and started shooting.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man told Annapolis Police a man shot him three times near Calvert and Northwest streets Thursday night.

Officers were called to Anne Arundel Medical Center about 8:43 p.m. for a report of a man suffering from gunshot wounds to his arm.

The victim told police he was walking in the area when a blue, newer model Honda Civic with two men inside stopped beside him. One of the men stepped out of the vehicle holding a handgun.

As he ran away, the suspect shot at him, striking the victime in the arm three times.

Police said the victim ran to West Washington Street and was driven to the hospital by a friend.

The victim’s wounds were believed to be non-life threatening.

Police have not released the victim’s names, possible motive for the attack or description of the suspects.
