Man Stabbed Several Times, Suspect Arrested In Annapolis: Police

A man was stabbed several times in Annapolis, police said. Officers arrested the suspect.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man was stabbed this weekend in Annapolis, city police said.

A press release said medics took the victim to an unidentified hospital, where doctors last listed him in stable condition.

Officers said they arrested the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Daqon Malik Tongue.

The stabbing happened around 2 a.m. Saturday in the unit block of Bens Drive. Authorities said the victim and the suspect got into a physical fight.

Tongue then pulled a knife and stabbed the victim several times, police said.

The release said Tongue stayed on the scene.

The Annapolis Police Department said it then charged Tongue with the stabbing.
