Man Stabs Coworker In Annapolis: Police

A man stabbed his coworker at an Annapolis farm supply store, police said. The victim was hospitalized, and the suspect was arrested.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man recently stabbed his coworker at an Annapolis farm supply store, county police announced Monday.

Officers said the stabbing hospitalized the 49-year-old victim. Authorities expect him to survive.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said it arrested the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Joshua Joseph Stansbury of Annapolis.

Officers said the stabbing happened Friday around 7:50 a.m. at Bowen's Farm Supply, located at 2550 Riva Road.

The encounter started with a verbal argument that got physical and eventually led to the stabbing, authorities said.

The suspect fled before officers arrived, but police said they found and arrested the accused man at his Annapolis home.

Officers said the stabbing happened outside the borders of the City of Annapolis, meaning county police have jurisdiction in this case.
