Taste buds rejoice! Maryland has all sorts of wonderful food and restaurant events this summer. From the Jazz and Seafood Festival to food truck festivals and more than a few restaurant weeks, we can expect our belts to buckle a bit this summer.
Here's what coming up in the area, according to Maryland's official tourism site.
July 23 to Aug. 6: Howard County Summer Restaurant Week

"Howard County Restaurant Weeks is a bi-annual, 15 day celebration of the local culinary scene in Howard County, Maryland! Part of a national movement, restaurant weeks debuted here in 2008 in an effort to encourage visitors and residents to experience the wonderful culinary talent in Central Maryland."
July 27 to Aug. 5: Baltimore Restaurant Week

Aug. 17 to 26: Baltimore Vegan Restaurant Week

The mission of Baltimore Vegan Restaurant Week is to increase the awareness, benefits and accessibility of a plant-based diet through a fun, innovative and community-based experience across multiple neighborhoods."
