Mauro Nicholas Maccari, a 30-year resident of Annapolis, and previously of Italy, died at his home on Sunday, April 19, 2015. He was 52.
Mauro was born on March 21, 1963 in Hastings, England, he was employed as an owner/operator truck driver, known as Mac. Mauro enjoyed music, computer technology and travelling. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Mauro is survived by his children, Richard Maccari of Ridgely, MD, Rachel Maccari and Marki Hines, both of Annapolis, MD; his parents, Angela Lemon of Annapolis, MD and Alfredo Maccari of La Spezia, Italy; a brother, Alfredo Maccari of Annapolis, MD.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Stan Lemon.

A memorial service will be held at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Friday, April 24, at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Benedictine School for Exceptional Children, c/o the Richard G. Maccari Benediction Fund, 14299 Benedictine Lane, Ridgely, MD 21660.
