MD Cybersecurity Summit Will Address America's Digital Threats
Gov. Larry Hogan will host a cybersecurity summit this week in Annapolis. The group will brainstorm solutions to America's digital threats.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Gov. Larry Hogan will host a cybersecurity summit this Thursday in Annapolis. The public panel of politicians, civil servants, educators and entrepreneurs will address preparing for and defeating the country's online dangers.
“There is no greater threat to the safety and security of Americans right now than the cyber vulnerabilities of the systems that support our daily lives, from our drinking water and our power supply, to our railroads and air traffic controls,” Hogan said in a press release. “As the cyber capital of America, Maryland is proud to host this summit.”
Hogan will start the meeting with opening remarks. These three sessions will follow:

- A Federal Perspective: Setting a National Cybersecurity Agenda
- A State Perspective: Building a Cybersecurity Ecosystem
- A Private Sector Perspective: Championing Innovation and Collective Defense

Hogan also held the Annapolis Infrastructure Summit in April. That conference brought together more than 25 politicians to discuss a federal infrastructure and public investment package.
