Memorial Day Scavenger Hunt At Sandy Point State Park
Nature enthusiasts are invited to attend a Memorial Day scavenger hunt at Sandy Point State Park near Annapolis.

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Nature is beckoning this Memorial Day Weekend as Sandy Point State Park hosts a Memorial Day scavenger hunt. Participants will learn about all of the interesting things that can be found all throughout the park for this spring-themed event.
The nature hunt will kick off at the nature center at South Beach Plaza at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 27. Advanced registration is not required but there will be a park entrance fee of $5 per person charged.
The park is located at 1100 East College Parkway.

Hours are 7 a.m. to sunset, January 1- October 31. Fishing: 24 hr. access January to mid-November
Boating: 24 hr. access year-round.
This 786-acre Maryland State Park is located along the northwestern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. The park opened on June 25, 1952, and features a marina store and boat rentals, food and beverage concession, fishing, picnic areas, shelters, bathhouses, sailing concessions and playgrounds.
The park is open year round and is a site on the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network.
