Miles Of Beer Lines Pump Draft Brews At Arundel Mills' Newest Bar
The newest pub at Arundel Mills Mall will bring 150 jobs and food donations to the area. Hint: It's a national chain.
HANOVER, MD — A new bar and grille called Yard House opened Monday in Arundel Mills Mall. The latest addition will bring 150 jobs to the area.
Yard House is a national chain known for its large selection of beer. The new Hanover bar has more than 100 beers on draft. The menu includes drinks from local brewers like Flying Dog Brewery, Heavy Seas and Crooked Crab Brewing.
More than two miles of pipes run overhead, delivering beer to the taps. The beer is stored in a glass-enclosed keg room. Inside, 3,000 gallons of beer are chilled at 36 to 38 degrees.

That beer comes straight the island bar at the center of the 14,154-square-foot space. Custom art from abstract painter Jerome Gastaldi decorates the ale house, and hand-picked playlists add to the atmosphere.
The 80-item menu also draws attention. Some of the highlights are the pork burger, hot chicken and nachos. The restaurant also has gluten-sensitive, vegan and vegetarian options.

When the day ends, the donations start. Yard House donates any remaining fresh, unused ingredients to local food banks at the end of each shift. Additionally, the bar plans to donate proceeds from its friends and family event to the Maryland Food Bank.
Yard House is located inside the mall at 7000 Arundel Mills Circle. It is sandwiched between Chevy's and Buffalo Wild Wings. Customers can access the restaurant from its outdoor entrance or the doors closest to the movie theater.
More information about Yard House is available here. The bar's coronavirus precautions are posted at this link.
The Hanover Yard House is the second in Maryland and 84th in the country. The other Maryland location is in Gaithersburg.
