ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man missing since a March 14 car crash was found dead March 17 near Weems Creek in Annapolis, Anne Arundel County Police said Monday. The death of Michael Millard, 25, of the 1100 block of Lake Heron Drive, is not considered suspicious in nature, authorities said.

Millard was driving a Honda that drifted off Jennifer Road about 11 p.m. on March 14 and struck a fire hydrant, causing minor damage to the vehicle. Police officers found the Honda unoccupied when they arrived, and Millard was not at the accident scene.

Millard's mother notified police the next day that she had not heard from her son, who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash. A missing persons report was filed on March 15, and family friends began to search for him.
