BYOB Boat Cruise Launches In April, Offers Annapolis Harbor Tours
A new tiki bar boat will debut this spring in downtown Annapolis. The BYOB vessel will leave from City Dock and cruise around the harbor.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A new tiki bar boat will set sail in downtown Annapolis this April. Passengers will cruise around the harbor while sipping drinks aboard the BYOB vessel.
A press release said the business, dubbed the Naptown Tiki Club, is the first floating tiki bar in the city.
The operator, Sea Suites Cruises, announced the new venture on March 16. Sea Suite Cruises also unveiled a pedal boat called Paddle Club Baltimore at the same time.

Known as "the Jacks," lifelong friends Jack Maher and Jack Walten founded Sea Suite Cruises in Washington, D.C. The Jacks were born and raised in Arlington, Virginia and became best friends in pre-school because of their shared first name.
After opening the Potomac Paddle Club in 2018, the Jacks added the Potomac Tiki Club. The business partners also started Paddle Club RVA in Richmond, Virginia in 2022.

"We’re excited to bring the fun to Maryland," Walten said in the release. "Baltimore and Annapolis are iconic locations with incredible sightseeing opportunities, primed for cruising along the water."
The Naptown Tiki Club will push off from City Dock directly in front of The Choptank restaurant. A licensed captain will take groups of eight to 16 people on an hour-and-a-half cruise around town. Guests can sit at the semi-circular bar or in the lounge area.
The motor-powered boat will trek down Ego Alley, travel under the Spa Creek Bridge and pass the U.S. Naval Academy before returning to City Dock.
The trip costs $45 to $55 per person with a minimum of eight people per group.
Paddle Club Baltimore is $39 to $54 per person.
This is the second stint for Paddle Club Baltimore. It previously operated as SipAhoy Cycleboats. Sea Suite Cruises partnered with SipAhoy to return this spring.
The Baltimore voyage departs from Harborview Marina in the Inner Harbor next to Little Havana. The 30-foot catamaran seats up to 20 passengers and has 10 cycle stations encircling the central bar. These bikes power the vessel, but there is also a motor to use whenever guests get tired.
The Annapolis and Baltimore boats each have Bluetooth speakers and USB charging stations. The coolers with ice will keep drinks cold, while the cupholders will prevent spills. Each vessel also has a bathroom.
"We look forward to welcoming groups at both locations that are looking for a unique outing, a new adventure in their own backyard and a memorable way to celebrate with colleagues, friends and family," Walten said.
