National Dessert Day: Sweet Deals Abound!

Yum! National Dessert Day is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 14, and tons of businesses are dishing out all sorts of offers in honor of the sweet holiday. Patch got the info from Offers.com, which publishes deals and discounts.

You can get a free scoop of Baskin Robbins ice cream if you download their app, 25 percent off your next Friendly's visit if you join their BFF Club or get 25 percent off mint chocolate chip dessert truffles from Godiva. There's tons more.

Some of the deals require joining email lists, downloading apps or joining clubs. Others are just discounts! Be sure to contact local stores to make sure they're participating.
