Naval Academy Will Run Active Shooter Drill, But There Won't Be An Actual Threat
The Naval Academy will run an active shooter drill on Tuesday. Police will be in the area, but there won't be an actual threat to Annapolis.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The U.S. Naval Academy will conduct an active shooter drill Tuesday afternoon. Many first responders will be near the Yard, and residents may hear exercise announcements over the academy's loudspeakers. The practice is scheduled to last from 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
There will not be any true threat to Annapolis. Locals do not need to do anything differently during the operation.
