SB28 (The Balloon Release Ban bill) is in jeopardy!!!!
Unfortunately, SB-28 has become mired in petty politics on the Senate floor. At present, SB28 is in jeopardy, and it'll take ALL of us to rescue it.

Therefore, I urge EVERYONE in Maryland to write their Senator, email ALL of them if you can, call them, tell your story, share your pictures, urge members of your organizations and friends to do the same -- we need to do whatever it takes to get the message across, to urge ALL of the Senate that SB28 is too important to dismiss and that balloon litter is a major problem affecting marine life, wildlife, farm animals and pets.
I am providing a list of the entire Senate along with their phone numbers. The floor vote will likely take place this coming Tuesday, so time is very short.
