New Jersey Governor Plans Glen Burnie Visit for Hogan Campaign
Chris Christie makes second trip to Maryland in a week for Republican candidate.

Gov. Chris Christie (R-New Jersey) will return to Maryland Tuesday to stump for Maryland’s Republican gubernatorial candidate Larry Hogan.
Christie and Hogan will appear Tuesday in a joint campaign stop at Honey Bee Diner in Glen Burnie.
Christie was in Bethesda last Tuesday to support Hogan, an Edgewater resident and businessman who served in the Ehrlich administration.

On his Oct. 21 visit, Christie said: “I’m here to show people I’m living proof” that a Republican candidate can win “in a tough state like this demographically,” according to WJZ.
Christie, who chairs the Republican Governors Association, was elected as New Jersey’s governor in 2010 after several terms of Democratic leadership. He was reelected last fall.

Hogan is in a hotly contested race against Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, the Democrat who has served under Gov. Martin O’Malley for the past eight years.
Hogan and Christie will appear at the Honey Bee Diner, 7346 Ritchie Highway, in Glen Burnie from 9:30 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28.
Election Day is Nov. 4, so Christie’s visit comes exactly one week before Marylanders cast their ballots.
