ANNAPOLIS, MD — A new NBC cooking show called "Baking It" features a father and a son from Annapolis, WBAL-TV 11 Baltimore reported. Anchor Theo Hayes wrote that the pair will compete for $50,000 in the competition hosted by actors Andy Samberg and Maya Rudolph.

WBAL said the local bakers are Tom O'Leary, owner of the Chevys Fresh Mex in Annapolis, and his son, Steve O'Leary. During the coronavirus pandemic, the duo opened a food truck called Black Market Bakers in the Chevys parking lot.

Their food now takes the national stage. Viewers can stream the first episode on Peakcock starting Thursday. The one-hour show will air on NBC this Friday at 8 p.m.
