Live Music, Ghost Walk Planned At Annapolis Oktoberfest This Weekend

An Oktoberfest is coming to Annapolis this weekend. The event will feature live music, a ghost walk and charitable fundraisers.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Oktoberfest is coming to downtown Annapolis this Saturday. The event will feature live music, a ghost walk and charitable fundraisers.

The festivities begin at 2 p.m., and they last until 10 p.m. To join in, head to the end of West Street where it meets Church Circle.

The music schedule is listed below:

  • 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Upper Level with Alison Thoms Music
  • 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Late Risers
  • 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Naptown Brass Band
  • 7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - Chris Sacks Band

The ghost walk starts at Gallery 57 West. Attendees can win prizes along the way, but they must register in advance for $5 at the art shop.

Gallery 57 West will also sell painted pumpkins to raise money for The Light House homeless shelter.

Similarly, four artsy gift baskets will be up for silent auction from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The proceeds will benefit the Inner West Street Association, the group that organized the festival.

Kids' games are on tap from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Children can play bean bag and ring toss, get temporary tattoos or poke the pumpkin. The kiddies can also decorate mini pumpkins with stickers and markers from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

A 1,000-pound pumpkin and a scarecrow cutout will be on-site for photo opportunities.

Visitors can enjoy Dinner Under the Stars starting at 4 p.m.
