One Dead, Five Injured in Annapolis Crash
Firefighters say an SUV rolled twice after it hit a guard rail.

One person was killed and five others suffered serious injuries in an Annapolis crash Friday afternoon, authorities say.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department says crews were called about 12:50 p.m. to a crash near Route 50 East and West Street. Firefighters say a single vehicle had rolled over multiple times, killing one person at the scene.

One patient, a 35-year-old woman, was taken to the Trauma Center at John Hopkins Hospital, authorities say. A 17-year-old boy, 15-year-old girl, 13-year-old boy and 8-year-old boy were taken to the John Hopkins Children’s Center.
All of the victims taken to hospitals had serious injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, officials said.

Investigators say a Mercury Mountaineer struck a guardrail and overturned twice, reports the Capital-Gazette. The person killed was a front-seat passenger about 60 years old, and was wearing a seat belt.
Authorities have not released the names of any of the victims.
