Open Table's Best Al Fresco Dining List Includes Annapolis Restaurant (ICYMI)

Note: Patch first posted this story in May, but it seems like a good time to remind you of these noted restaurants.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — With summer in full swing, it’s time to dine outdoors.

The Open Table restaurant reservation website has compiled its list of 100 Best Al Fresco Dining Restaurants in America for 2016 – and an Annapolis venue made the cut.

Severn Inn, 1993 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Annapolis, and Old Stein Inn, 1143 East Central Ave. in Edgewater, were the only Maryland eateries selected by Open Table. The Severn Inn was picked for its seafood dishes, while Old Stein Inn earned raves for its German cuisine and beer selection, oh and did we mention the apple cheesecake?

The selections highlight restaurants that offer stunning views, regional cuisine and, above all, fabulous outdoor dining experiences, the website says.

The list of honorees is determined after analyzing more than five million reviews of more than 20,000 restaurants across the nation – all submitted by verified diners.
