Oprah Winfrey-Backed Restaurant Coming To Annapolis

True Food Kitchen will move into an 8,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Brooks Brothers and open by the end of 2020.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — True Food Kitchen, a national restaurant chain backed by Oprah Winfrey, will open by the end of the year in the Annapolis Towne Center. The eatery will move into an 8,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Brooks Brothers. The health-centered chain has more than 40 locations across the country and specializes in seasonal and organic food with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

The 10-year-old complex at 1906 Towne Centre Boulevard has been undergoing a face lift and re-branding of sorts. An outdoor area has been expanded with new turf, Adirondack chairs and additional seating that will allow for concerts and other events to be held there. There also is a new seating area with coffee tables, seating and a fire pit, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.
