Police Identify Pedestrian Fatally Struck In Annapolis
Police identified the pedestrian who died after a vehicle hit her this weekend. The Annapolis woman was 63 years old.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — City police on Monday released the name of the pedestrian who died this weekend after a vehicle hit her in Annapolis.
Officers identified the pedestrian as 63-year-old Rhoda Cabauatan of Annapolis. Medics pronounced her dead on the scene, a press release said.

The release said the unidentified driver was not hurt.
The driver was heading southeast on Aris T. Allen Boulevard approaching Chinquapin Round Road around 6:12 p.m. Sunday. That's when the pedestrian crossed in front of the vehicle, authorities said.

Police said the unidentified vehicle then hit the pedestrian.
Officers think pedestrian error was a factor in the crash.
Authorities said the wreck temporarily closed Aris T. Allen Boulevard, also known as Maryland Route 665, heading toward Forest Drive.
