About 60 Annapolis Senior Activity Center members celebrated Mardi Gras by listening to jazz and enjoying omelets, hash browns, sausage, and pancakes topped with strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream, and syrup.

Some wore beads, masks, and other outfits reminiscent of Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Participants in the Senior Center Plus program, a program that provides specialized activities for frail adults, made masks and crowns for the occasion.

Musicians Michael Noonan, John Pineda, and Frank Russo played such favorites as “Sweet Georgia Brown” and “Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue, Has Anybody Seen My Girl?” They played "When The Saints Go Marching In" for their grand finale.
