Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps to Perform In Annapolis

Youth Fife and Drum Corps concert performances at Maryland State House and Annapolis Maritime Museum.

In its 47th performance season, the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps of Plymouth, MI will make two performance stops in Annapolis, MD during its 2017 Concert Tour. On Thursday, August 3, 2017, the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps will perform first at 12:00 Noon at the Maryland State House located at 100 State Circle. Later that evening at 7:00 PM, The Corps will perform at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, located at 723 Second Street.

The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps’ annual summer Concert Tour has taken the Corps to many historical sites in the Eastern U.S. and Canada. The 2017 Concert Tour will take the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps to Fort Ticonderoga in Ticonderoga, NY, Washington Crossing Historic Park in Washington Crossing, NJ, Fort McHenry in Baltimore, MD, National Night Out at Fort George G. Meade near Baltimore, MD, and to Annapolis MD for their performances at the Maryland State House and the Annapolis Maritime Museum.

The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps consists of students, ranging in age from 12 to 18. Their members are from Plymouth Michigan and its surrounding communities. The Corps prepares year round for their annual performance seasons. The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving the ancient arts of color guard, fifing, and drumming through live performances at parades, historical and patriotic celebrations, concerts, cultural affairs, and other civic events.
