Annapolis Shooting Was Fatal, Police Offer $2K Reward For Tips: Officials
A man died after a downtown Annapolis shooting, police said. Officers did not identify the victim. Detectives offered a $2,000 reward.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police announced that a man died after he was shot around 1 p.m. Thursday in downtown Annapolis. Officers have not yet released the name of the victim, who died at an unnamed hospital.

The initial call on the police scanner alleged that the fatal shooting happened in the rear of the Graduate Annapolis hotel, located at 126 West Street. Officers later confirmed that the shooting occurred in the unit block of Pleasant Street, which dead-ends at a parking lot behind the hotel. The map below shows the area around the scene:

Detectives said they are investigating the case as a homicide, but they did not name any suspects. The Annapolis Police Department offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment.
