Police Drop Robbery Charges Against Annapolis Man
Renardo Green, 42, was cleared of involvement in a Nov. 18 incident, said police.

City police dropped charges against an Annapolis man who was arrested in connection with the Nov. 18 robbery of an elderly man in an apartment on West Washington Street.
According to Tuesday’s daily incident report, was found to not be responsible for the robbery of a 92-year-old man in his apartment.
“Detectives received new information after Green’s arrest and worked with the Office of the State’s Attorney to have the charges against Green dropped,” police said in the report.

Green was released Monday. Detective Amy Miguez, a spokeswoman for the Annapolis Police Department, said there are no suspects right now but added that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
As Patch reported earlier this month, with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment before the charges were dropped.
