Authorities Investigate Downtown Annapolis Bomb Threat: Reports
BREAKING: Annapolis business owners said on social media that Annapolis Fire officials are checking a bomb threat.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Annapolis residents and business owners shared images on Twitter Friday afternoon of a police and fire department presence and possible bomb threat investigation downtown.
Photos showed Annapolis Police vehicles blocking off part of Prince George's Street in the downtown area.
Annapolis Police have not confirmed the activity, but told Patch that Prince George's Street is closed between Maryland and College streets. Annapolis firefighters take the lead in such investigations, while police secure the area.

Ryan Lamy, owner of Pip's Dock Street Dogs in Annapolis, tweeted that officers were investigating a report of suspicious package about 1 p.m.

And Michael O'Brien also tweeted that bomb squad members were checking a package.
