ANNAPOLIS, MD — A 62-year-old city man is facing criminal charges in the stabbing Monday night of his roommate, who's being treated at a Baltimore hospital, according to Annapolis police.

Police officers responded at 9 p.m. Monday to the report of a stabbing at a residence in the 100 block of South Southwood Avenue, where they found a man who had been stabbed in the head, according to a police report. The victim told police that his roommate, David Raymond, of Annapolis, had stabbed him.

The victim was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for treatment. The officers arrested Raymond and were guarding him Tuesday at Anne Arundel Medical Center, "where he is being treated for a medical condition," the police said.
