Police Remind Drivers to Keep Vehicles Locked after Thefts
A Glen Burnie man arrested for allegedly stealing cell phones and wallets from unlocked vehicles serves as a warning to residents.

Police are reminding residents to keep their vehicles locked after a Glen Burnie man was arrested for stealing wallets and electronics out of cars.
Anne Arundel County Police received a report early Thursday morning that a man was trying to get into vehicles in the 400 block of Valiant Circle in Glen Burnie.

The suspect -- Alan Clark, 28, of Glen Burnie -- was found on foot on the block. Property consistent with being taken from automobiles was located nearby. Investigators allege Clark entered unlocked vehicles and took cellular phones, GPS devices, purses and wallets.
The suspect’s vehicle was located nearby and property recovered inside was related to other vehicle thefts in the area. Almost all the property recovered was identified and returned to its owners, according to authorities.

Police arrested Clark and charged him with theft under $1,000, rogue and vagabond (theft from auto).
