Police: Trio Robbed Hotel Guest, Stole His ATM Card

One robber beat up the man, then the three forced him to withdraw cash, say Anne Arundel police.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Anne Arundel County police arrested three people early Saturday after they robbed a man in his hotel room and forced him to withdraw cash from an ATM, according to a police report.

All three suspects are facing charges that include robbery, theft and false imprisonment, the police said. They include Davin Jamal Allen, 29, of Baltimore; Jameria Bridges, 19, of Annapolis; and Sean Zulu Weah, 22, of Windsor Mill.

At 12:20 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the report of a robbery at the Crowne Plaza Annapolis, at 173 Jenifer Road, the police report stated. The robbery victim, an unidentified man, told them that Allen and Weah, whom he had just met that evening, were in his hotel room when he noticed some of his property was missing.

When the victim confronted the pair, one of them attacked him, injuring him in the upper body, head and legs, the police report said. They seized the victim’s ATM card and forced him to make several cash withdrawals at a nearby ATM.

"When the victim began shouting for help, the suspects fled the scene," the police report stated.

While the officers were at the hotel, they were alerted that the robbery victim’s ATM card was being used at a nearby CVS store at 2601 Riva Road. Police went to the store and apprehended Allen, Bridges and Weah, the police report stated.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the police said.
