Police Work to Identify Woman's Remains, Death Called Suspicious
Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a suspicious death after a woman's body was found in the 2000 block of Industrial Drive.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The discovery of a decomposing body in woods behind a Parole business has been deemed a suspicious death by the Anne Arundel County Police Department, authorities said Wednesday.
About 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, police officers were called to the wooded area in the 2000 block of Industrial Drive by a person walking in the area who saw the victim.
Officers found the body of an apparent adult white female lying in the wooded area. Fire Department personnel pronounced the woman deceased.

Homicide detectives responded along with the Evidence Collection Unit and processed the scene. Detectives searched the industrial park and conducted interviews in a search for possible witnesses.
At this time the identity of the deceased female is unknown, police said.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore will perform an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death, as well as help to identify the remains.
The location is behind a Premier Fitness gym, reports The Capital-Gazette.
