Poll: What Do You Think of the Fence Behind the Fawcett Property?

The owners reportedly said if they get the zoning change, they will reopen the fence.

A fence with a sign that says "private property" now blocks the access to the wooden walkway behind the old Fawcett Boat Supplies building on Compromise Street.

The Capital reported Friday that the owners of the building locked the gate earlier this month as the result of an ongoing battle over the current zoning restrictions of the building.

Back in July, Patch reported that the city's planning commission zoning.
