Quadruple Shooting Kills 1, Injures 3 In Annapolis: Police
The shooting killed a 28 -year-old Baltimore man, police say. Two of the surviving victims are minors, officers claim.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — A quadruple shooting killed one person and injured three others in Annapolis early Sunday morning, a report says. Police identified the deceased victim as 28-year-old Shawn McGowan of Baltimore.
Officials allege that two of the surviving victims are 17-year-old girls. The final wounded person is 26. Medics took the three survivors to an unnamed hospital where they continue treatment.
Officers responded to multiple reports of the shooting in the 100 block of Clay Street around 12:11 a.m. An incident report says police found McGowan behind the home. The three other victims were inside, the writeup continues.

This was Annapolis' 6th homicide of the year. The last fatal shooting killed a 14-year-old boy in the 1800 block of Bowman Court on July 27.
The Annapolis Police Department is still investigating the Sunday shooting. They ask anybody with information to call detectives at 410-260-3439. Tipsters can remain anonymous by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP. Police also offer a $2,000 reward for tips that lead to an arrest or indictment.

Ward 2 Alderman Fred Paone organized a town hall in response to the shooting. The community conversation is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The public is invited to attend the free event at the First Baptist Church, located at 31 West Washington Street in Annapolis. Masks are required, hand sanitizer will be available and planners ask attendees to stay 6 feet apart.
