Services Advancing Racial Awareness and Dialogue

The Change Starter Co. Benefits LLC

The Change Starter Co. Benefits LLC, led by Allie, offers workshops, group discussions, public forums, and conferences designed to foster reflection, deepen racial understanding, and support social growth. Offerings provide confidential spaces where individuals, groups, and organizations can explore how race, identity, and social conditioning shape perceptions, interactions, and internal patterns. Through facilitated conversations, participants engage in meaningful dialogue that encourages self-reflection, critical thinking, and awareness of both personal and systemic influences. Sessions are tailored for people at all levels of familiarity with race-related topics, ensuring a non-judgmental environment for learning and exploration. Allie helps communities and organizations build stronger communication skills, recognize bias, and develop strategies for thoughtful engagement. Sessions are offered locally in the DC‑Maryland‑Virginia area and virtually. Additional offerings include a lesson plan manual for middle and high school teachers, a student edition of conversation cards (for student-led class discussions on race), and an eBook guiding individuals to reflect on internalized beliefs about race

The Gampopa Center is a spiritual community, where we learn

Gampopa Center

The Gampopa Center is a spiritual community, where we learn and practice the teachings (philosophy, meditation, and science of mind) of the Buddha. Our Dharma center holds a variety of spiritual practices, ranging from meditation to philosophical study and sadhana practices. Rooted in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the Gampopa Center draws on the teachings and practices of countless realized figures across many different lineages and schools of thought. When it comes to Dharma studies and activities, we consider ourselves as nonsectarian followers of the Buddha, whereby we invite Dharma teachers from all major traditions of Buddhism, to teach Dharma in ways that preserve those different traditions. However, when we are doing more serious and specific Dharma practices, we follow the Kadam masters and the Kagyu lineage of Vajrayana. The Gampopa Center is located at 1831 Forest Drive, Suite C, in Annapolis, Maryland. Founded by Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche, the center serves as a welcoming space for individuals to explore the philosophy and science of mind through the authentic teachings of the Buddha. By providing a physical sanctuary in the heart of Annapolis, the center fosters a supportive environment for local practitioners and visitors alike. Visitors can expect a compassionate and inclusive atmosphere that emphasizes practical wisdom for daily life. All are welcome

Secure What Matters. Accumulate Wealth. Plan Now For Ahead

Adam N. Green - New York Life Insurance Company

By mid-career, you may already have retirement savings, workplace benefits, and insurance in place. Even so, important questions can remain: Is your family adequately protected? Are you prepared for future responsibilities? Do the choices you have made still fit the life you are building? I work with family-focused professionals building established careers in technology-driven, sales-oriented, and operationally complex organizations. Many know financial action matters and have already taken some initial steps, but they want greater clarity about what to address next and where to begin. Our conversations may cover family protection, life insurance, long-term-care considerations, disability insurance, annuities, lifetime income, college funding, and retirement-related needs. I consider each situation from multiple angles, explain why an option may or may not fit, and welcome thoughtful questions. The focus is on informed decisions without unnecessary pressure. My approach is shaped by approximately 10 years of experience across private wealth management, financial-services operations, client accounts, and collaborative financial-services roles. I bring that perspective to ongoing relationships centered on clear reasoning, practical next steps, and support as family priorities and responsibilities change. Adam N.
