Red Right Return rocks

The Red Right Return band kept more than 60 Annapolis Senior Activity Center members enthralled with classic rock and pop favorites during a free concert at the center on April 28.

Playing in the band were center members Francine and Harry Latimer and Chuck Moore. Their center friends filled the audience. Classmates, teachers, students, exercise buddies and Annapolis Seniors Inc. board members were at the center to hear them play.

The seniors danced, clapped, kept time to the music and even did a little singing as the band performed songs from Chicago, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, and Elvis Pressley.

The band played such favorites as “I Heard It Through the Grapevine,” “Mustang Sally,” “Hound Dog,” “Knock on Wood,” “Gimme Some Lovin’,” “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” and “Give Me a Ticket for an Airplane.”

After a two hour performance, the band left its audience feeling sated with good music and good friendships.
