Restaurants Offer Freebies, Deals For Halloween 2017

While Halloween is all about free candy for the kiddies — OK, we have to sample it too — but various eateries are also offering free or discounted goodies on Tuesday to celebrate the holiday. Many of the specials are already under way. Here are some of the deals highlighted courtesy of the website Offers.com.

The website surveyed more than 1,000 U.S. consumers to understand how much they spend on the holiday and on what items. Results show that the average consumer will spend over $75 total on Halloween candy, costumes and other essentials.

Most consumers will spend Tuesday night passing out candy or trick-or-treating, that accounts for 35 percent of those surveyed. However, respondent are split on the rest of their activities as decorating and carving pumpkins are both tied for 17 percent, and partying and dressing up are tied for 12 percent. The last 7 percent will celebrate the scary holiday with a visit to a haunted house.

Here are Halloween freebies and deals to take advantage of:

• Baja Fresh – Get a free kids meal on Halloween with the purchase of an adult entree. No costume is required, but you must be a member of Club Baja to access the deal.
• Baskin Robbins – Check out these sweet treats: $1.50 scoops on October 31; $3 off any Ice Cream Cake, a $15 minimum purchase is required.
• Bass Pro Shops – Check out the Great Pumpkin Halloween Event through October 31. Enjoys perks like a free 4×6 photo with the Halloween Peanuts Gang, free crafts, costume parade, and more.
• Bertucci’s – Try their Halloween Special for a free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult entree through November 1. Kids must be wearing a costume to get the deal.
• BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse – $3 Pizookie desserts through October 31.
• Chick-fil-A – Kids in costume get a free treat when you dine-in, on October 31 from 5 to 7 PM. Check with your local Chick-fil-A to be sure they are participating.
• Chipotle – Snag a $3 Boorito on Halloween! Just stop by any Chipotle in costume from 3pm to close to get a $3 burrito, bowl, salad, or order of tacos.
• Chuck E Cheese – Pizza in your favorite candy shape includes a free packet of candy corn with your purchase. Available thru October 31; a free slice of Candy Corn pizza on Halloween from 4 to 8 PM on the hour, while supplies last.
• CiCi’s Pizza – Kids ages 10 and under dressed in their Halloween costumes get a free kids buffet on Halloween. Limit 1 free kids buffet per adult buffet and regular drink purchased.
• Coco’s Bakery Restaurant - Free Kids Meal on Halloween to youngsters in costume with the purchase of an adult entree. To see whether your restaurant will participate this Halloween, contact your local Coco’s Bakery.
• Dunkin’ Donuts – Deals include new donuts for Halloween – try a Spider Donut, Purple Potion, Vampire’s Delight, Boston Scream and more, only for a limited time.
• IHOP – Create a Monster on your pancake for a chance to win free prizes. Snap a picture of your Scary Face pancake creation for a chance to win prizes. Just share your monster or goblin using #ScaryFacePancake and #Entry on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter to enter.
• Joe’s Crab Shack – Kids eat free on Halloween with the purchase of adult entree.

• Morton’s The Steakhouse – Try a 3 course meal for $39 for their Halloween Special on October 30-31. Also, get drink and small plate specials all night in the Morton’s bar starting at 5 pm on Halloween.
• Noodles & Company – Get a free kids meal for each regular size entrée purchased through October 31 at participating locations.
• Outback Steakhouse – Enjoy a Dark & Spooky Cocktail – $6 Bacardi Oakheart Rum with house-made ginger beer and garnished with lime.
• Papa Murphy’s – The Jack-O-Lantern Pizza is back through Oct 31. Get a large for $8 or a family size for $10 – priced higher in some locations.
• Shoney’s – Get a free Trick or Treat bag when you visit Shoney’s this Halloween season, now through October 31 at participating locations.
