Retired Police K-9 Dies After Serving Anne Arundel County For 7 Years
A retired police K-9 died after serving Anne Arundel County for seven years. Officers said he was a strong, smart and loyal teammate.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — A retired Anne Arundel County police K-9 named Soren died recently. Officers announced the news Tuesday.
"Soren was a strong, smart, loyal member of our agency," the Anne Arundel County Police Department said on Facebook.
Soren served with the agency for seven years. He was partnered with Sgt. Greg Pilkerton.

The K-9 retired in 2017. In his retirement, Soren continued to live with Pilkerton and his family.
"Thank you, Soren for your years of devoted service and for making Anne Arundel County a safer place," the department said. "Please continue to watch over your beloved partner and be with us all."
