Road Rage Crash In Arnold Prompts Arrest Of Pasadena Driver: Police

A road rage crash in Arnold prompted the arrest of a Pasadena man, police said. Officers accused him of pushing another car down the road.

ARNOLD, MD — A recent road rage crash in Arnold led to the arrest of a Pasadena driver, the Anne Arundel County Police Department said.

Officers identified the accused man as Steven Collins, 51.

Authorities said the crash happened March 15 around 8:10 a.m. near Ritchie Highway and Jones Station Road.

Police said they saw a Ford F-350 pickup truck pushing a BMW X3 SUV down the road at a high rate of speed.

The truck disengaged from the SUV and drove away, officers said.

Authorities said they caught up to the truck and arrested its driver.

Further investigation revealed that the crash stemmed from a road rage incident near Ritchie Highway and College Parkway, police said.

Officers said medics took the victim in the SUV to an unidentified hospital. Authorities expect the victim to survive.
