Severn Church Members Spruce Up Police Grounds

The Anne Arundel County Police Department thanked residents who spiffed up the grounds of the Western District police station.

ODENTON, MD — Despite last week's oppressive heat and humidity, several members from the Severn Christian Church spent time to help beautify the Western District Station, earning the thanks of the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

On its Facebook page, the department noted the busy church members weeded and planted the mulch beds, cleared dead branches and stumps from the property, and generally cleaned up the grounds.

The station is located at 8273 Telegraph Road in Odenton.
