ANNAPOLIS, MD — A Severn man was arrested recently in the fatal shooting of an Annapolis woman, city police said Tuesday.

Annapolis Police officers identified the victim as Amari Tydings, 26, of Annapolis, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting happened around 10:08 p.m. June 3 in the 1100 block of Madison Street in Eastport, authorities said.

Dyamonick Gray, 19, of Severn, was arrested on June 9 and charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony/violent crime, and possession of a regulated firearm while under 21.

Gray is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond, police said in a news release.

The Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment on felony charges. The Metro Crime Stoppers is a non-police organization that collects tips and shares them with detectives.
