Shots Fired In Annapolis, Bullets Damage 2 Vehicles: Police

Gunfire damaged two vehicles in Annapolis, police said. Officers spotted a gun in the suspect's vehicle, but they haven't found the shooter.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Gunfire damaged two vehicles Monday in Annapolis, city police said. Officers did not report any injuries.

Authorities heard about the shots fired in the 1200 block of Forest Drive around 10:06 p.m. Police said they spotted the unidentified suspect's vehicle nearby. Nobody was inside.

Crews towed the vehicle for safekeeping until officers secured a search warrant, a press release said.

Authorities said they later found a loaded handgun in the vehicle.

The Annapolis Police Department has not made any arrests.
