Free Annapolis Seminar and Panel Discussion on Alzheimer's and Dementia

Wiley H Bates Legacy Centerin Annapolis will host an important informational session and panel discussion on recognizing early signs of Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia and other critical care factors for aging seniors on Wednesday January 22nd from 4-8PM.

John Degen, Executive Operations Officer of Bay Village Assisted Living & Memory Carewill be joined on a panel by Yolanda Wright of the Alzheimer’s Association, Susan Degen of Chesapeake Caregivers Home Care and Sue Eitel from Annapolis Family Physical Therapy to discuss important warning signs of Alzheimer’s and dementia , successful approaches to discussions and important steps and tools for a positive change.

“It’s a hard conversation to have with a loved one,” said John Degen, Executive Operations Officer of Bay Village Assisted Living in Annapolis, “Especially, when many don’t understand or recognize the important warning signs that it’s time to seek help for a loved one.” He added, “That’s why we thought it was important to have this discussion and answer specific questions in order to help create a care plan.”

Following brief presentations and a panel discussion, guests can ask questions and get the necessary answers. Beverages, light fare and networking with local experts will be available before and after the panel event.
