Sketch Released of Suspect in Downtown Sexual Assault

Annapolis Police hope the public can identify a man suspected in a July assault the downtown area.

The Annapolis Police Department hopes the public can help identify a suspect in a sexual assault investigation.

Police on Thursday released a sketch of the suspect. The sexual assault occurred in the unit block of Duke of Gloucester Street about 2 a.m. on July 18.

The man is described as an African American male, late 20s, 6’04” to 6’05” tall, 210 to 230 pounds, physically fit with a muscular build, clean shaven with short cut hair. He was last seen wearing a light colored T-shirt and tan or light colored shorts.
