Snow?! 'Wintry Mix' in Maryland Weekend Forecast
It's April but we had record lows overnight. Forecasters say Maryland could see mix of rain, snow this weekend with temperatures in the 20s.

If you thought a record-low temperature of 24 degrees – hit Wednesday morning at two regional airports -- was the worst thing the weather forecast could hold in April, guess again.
The dreaded "wintry mix" of rain and snow is possible in Maryland this coming weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday night and Saturday are looking a little brutal with a chance of rain and/or "snow showers" and high temperatures in the 40s predicted by forecasters.

The Capital Weather Gang also says to expect gusty winds Saturday. And Saturday night's low? Look for temperatures to dip into the 20s, according to the National Weather Service.
A record low temperature of 24 degrees was tied or set Wednesday morning at both Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport, the NWS says.

This ties the old record of 24 degrees set in 1966 for Dulles, and set the record for BWI, which previously had a record low of 26 degrees set in 1898 on this date.
After that next round of nasty weather, Sunday is expected to be sunny and warm up a bit, with a high around 50 degrees.
According to the weather service, here's the breakdown for what we're in for:
- Friday Night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or snow showers. Lows in the upper 30s. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.
- Saturday: Partly sunny with a chance of rain or snow showers. Highs in the upper 40s. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.
- Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Cold with lows in the upper 20s.
- Sunday: Sunny. Highs around 50.
