More than 50 Admiral Heights residents attended the neighborhood’s Halloween party on Oct. 27.

At least two doctors, an astronaut, a policeman and a race car driver represented occupations. Halloween related costumes included a vampire, a witch, a number of pumpkins, and a fire ninja. Mario and Alex represented two video game characters. Sleeping Beauty came from a Disney movie and the Cookie Monster came from Sesame Street. Animals included a bunny rabbit, a black kitty cat, elephant, a monarch butterfly, a dinosaur, a koala, and a flamingo. Other characters included Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Batman, and a princess.

They bobbed for apples, tossed bean bags, swung golf clubs, and threw sticky critters at a bullseye. They made Halloween masks and other crafty stuff. They also ate lots of food, including cupcakes, cookies, brownies, fruit, chips, popcorn, and veggies.

The party concluded with the parents trying to corral the children for pictures and the children parading around the Germantown Elementary School cafeteria.

Thanks go to Amanda and Grant Garcia for organizing the event.
