St. Patrick's Day Parade March 8 In Annapolis
Streets along the parade route will close before 1 p.m. and will remain closed until the parade is finished at approximately 3 p.m.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Street closures will take effect as Annapolis residents celebrate St. Patrick's Day with its annual parade March 8 at 1 p.m. The parade will start at West Street and Amos Garrett Boulevard. The parade includes more than 100 entrants and is expected to draw up to 15,000 people to Annapolis.
“This parade is huge for the City of Annapolis,” said Mayor Gavin Buckley in a statement. “Whether you are a participant or watching from along the parade route, this event is a highlight of spring. It’s all good fun, with the Pipes and Drums, the marching bands, the Irish dancers. We love it.”
The parade begins near Park Place and participants are to line up along Amos Garrett Boulevard. From there, the parade will travel down West Street to Church Circle, go around the circle to Main Street, continue down Main Street and end at City Dock.

The eighth annual St. Patrick’s parade is sponsored by Naptown Events, which also will offer shuttles from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to the staging area near Maryland Hall for parade participants and to the downtown area for parade watchers. The parade also supports local organizations. The 2020 beneficiaries will include Warrior Events and the Annapolis Police Foundation.

Shamrock the Dock at City Dock begins at 1 p.m. We’re Not Handsome and Dublin 5 will be performing until 7 p.m.
