MRS. CORKADEL

“The County Council took what was a good budget and made it better by allocating an additional $1.5 million to benefit our students. We are most grateful for the hard work of everyone associated with this process. The investment in our children pays dividends for our entire county.”

DR. ARLOTTO

“There are many, many positives in the operating and capital budgets for our children, but the inclusion by the Council of $2.5 million to fund a new West County Elementary School and the County Executive’s subsequent commitment to reinstate the project in the six-year plan is a huge win for our students and communities as we continue to upgrade the educational environments across our county.”
