Super times at Annapolis Senior Activity Center

Annapolis Senior Activity Center gets ready for Super Bowl with a NFL Team Day, souper" bowl donations, & Jersey Day & Prediction Contest.

The Annapolis Senior Activity Center held NFL Team Day on Jan. 29. NFL football fans celebrated the day by supporting their teams by wearing their colors.

While none of the local teams are competing in the Super Bowl this year, the spirit of the fans ran high. Ravens fans wore purple hats, jackets, jerseys, hoodies, and sweatshirts. Redskin fans wore sweatshirts, earrings, bracelets, and socks. One fan had a Redskin gnome; another fan had a Redskin purse.

NFL Team Day was the first of several events scheduled at the Annapolis Senior Activity Center during the month of the Super Bowl. Throughout February, the center will accept “souper” bowl donations. Seniors are asked to bring cans of soup to donate to the Light House Shelter.
